Fire and rescue unit No. 4 of Osnovyanskij District is located at 27 Kvitkinska Str.

The building of the fire department is an architectural landmark. It was built in 1886 (according to other data, in 1887) according to the project of the architect Hryhoriy Stryzhevskyi in the historicism style with neo-Gothic elements.

Several service buildings of the same period were located on the territory of the fire station. They were also architectural monuments.

Most of them were destroyed as a result of 2 missile strikes by Russian forces in March 2022. The main building of the fire department was also seriously damaged.
