An ATN news report from the opening of the photo exhibition “Crossroads of Two Worlds: Kharkiv–Chechnya” at the “Buzok” Gallery in KHATOB, featuring photographers from “Alluring Kharkiv.” The exhibition was organized in collaboration with the All-Ukrainian Public Organization “Diaspora of the Chechen People,” whose members have long resided in Kharkiv; many of them lost their homes due to the wars in Chechnya in the 1990s. We sought to find parallels and commonalities in the vastly different natural landscapes and historic architecture of Kharkiv, Sloboda Ukraine, and the Caucasus.
