The former apartment building of the Bergenheim Partnership, once a renowned manufacturer of ceramic tiles, is located at Mala Panasivska Street, 35.

Surprisingly, the building isn’t listed as a historic landmark.

The building is notable for its beautiful orange gates, which are still in excellent condition.

We also found no precise information regarding the date of construction or the architect, although some sources name V. Velichko. It was most likely built in 1912.

The building currently houses Kharkiv Railway Clinical Hospital No. 2

Until recently, the silhouette of the hospital and the grain silo elevator next to it was quite amusing from certain angles, as together they resembled a castle with a tower. On May 16, 2021, the grain silo elevator was demolished, and a residential complex is being built in its place.
