The Art Nouveau apartment building at Sumska Street, 80 was built in 1906 according to a design by Oleksander Ginzburg for Grigory Ivanovich Goryansky, a nobleman.

The last owner of this five-story architectural landmark during WWI was Dr. Manuil Moiseevich Landa-Bezverkhniy.
The building’s windows were damaged as a result of Russian shelling in March 2022. On December
31, a strike by a Russian-Iranian Shaheed drone on the building at Sumska Street, 43 shattered the windows and doors of this building again.
