The Art Nouveau apartment building at Sumska Street, 45 was built in 1907 according to a design by architect Oleksander Ginzburg.

The house is distinguished by a beautiful concrete canopy that has been preserved above the entrance.

In 1909, the house was owned by Labish Manusovich Landsberg, a pharmacy assistant.

The windows of the house were damaged as a result of a Russian attack using a “Shaheed”-type kamikaze drone on December 31, 2023, targeting a neighboring building at Sumskaya Street, 43.
