On April 15, 1912, the Fourth State Duma began its work. As before, there were 11 deputies from the Kharkiv Governorate. However, four of them had also served in the previous—the Third Duma. As we can see, in this case, certain phenomena remain unchanged even 100 years later.
Boris Ivanovich Karazin.
Born in 1874. A member of the Octoberist movement.
Landowner. Graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics at Kharkiv University (1898). Civil servant at the Ministry of Finance (1899–1901). Assistant to the Chairman of the Kharkiv Uyezd Nobility Council (1902–1905). Member of the provincial zemstvo council (1905–1908). Delegate to the Kharkiv Provincial and Bohodukhiv District zemstvos. Honorary justice of the peace. Founder and chairman of the provincial economic councils.
Born in 1869. A member of the Octobrist Party.
A landowner in Sumy County. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics (Natural Sciences Department) at St. Petersburg University with a silver medal. He remained at the university and was preparing to take up a chair in anatomy. He is engaged in agriculture on his estate in Belovody. A delegate to the uyezd and provincial zemstvos. A member of the State Duma of the 3rd convocation.
Alexei Markianovich Stanislavsky
Born in 1865. Right-handed.
Archpriest of the Bohodukhiv Cathedral. He graduated from the Kharkiv Theological Seminary. He serves as dean of the 1st district, inspector of parish schools, and clergy representative in the zemstvo assemblies and the city duma. Member of the school board. Member of the State Duma of the 3rd convocation.
Nikolai Ivanovich Antonov.
Born in 1859. A member of the Octoberists.
Head of the 1st Criminal Division of the Ministry of Justice. Graduated from the Law Faculty of St. Petersburg University. Served for 25 years in the judicial system. Provincial Councilor and Honorary Justice of the Peace. Landowner in the Izyum District. Assistant to the Secretary of the State Duma of the 3rd and 4th convocations.
Daniil Maksimovich Haidamaka.
Born in 1875. Right-wing.
Farmer. Graduated from a rural school. Served as a gendarme. Volost foreman. Works as a farmer.
Iosif Maksimovich Dotsenko
Born in 1865. Right-wing.
Farmer. Member of the Okhtyrka Zemstvo Council (since 1909). Graduated from elementary school. Delegate to the Okhtyrka Uyezd Zemstvo.
Matvey Konstantinovich Muranov.
Born in 1873. Social Democrat.
A townsman from the village of Osnova in Kharkiv County. Self-taught. A mechanic. Works at the locomotive-building plant of the North Donets Railways.
Konstantin Modestovich Strukov.
Born in 1885. Right-handed.
Head of the Nobility in Starobils’k County. He graduated from the law school of St. Petersburg University.
Petr Alekseevich Neklyudov.
Born in 1867. A member of the Octoberist movement.
Representative of the Ministry of Finance at the Don Land Bank. Graduated from the Law Faculty of St. Petersburg University with a first-class degree. Member of the Kharkiv Provincial Zemstvo. Honorary Justice of the Peace. Member of the State Duma of the 3rd convocation.
On October 6, 1917, the Duma was officially dissolved by decree of the Provisional Government in connection with the scheduling of elections to the All-Russian Constituent Assembly.
