According to the 1909 list of property owners, the building at number 3 on Skobelivska Square belonged to Baroness Sofia Vladimirovna Wrangel.

Boris Korniienko is listed as the architect of the Art Nouveau-style renovation project in 1913.

The building is now located at Geroev Nebesnoj Sotni Square, 3. It is likely that the façade’s decorative elements were lost during numerous renovations.

Unfortunately, some of the flats on the upper floors of this building are abandoned, so during the renovation, black metal sheet covers were fitted in place of the windows.

Furthermore, this is one of the types of pre-WWI buildings where the staircase was located deep within the building and was lit by transom windows, through which light fell from the 2nd staircase of the service staircase.

As these windows are now sealed, the staircase is now lit by electric lighting around the clock.

The building was severely damaged during the Russian missile strike in March 2022. It lost all its glazing, the façade was damaged by debris, and the roof was also damaged.
