Sometimes nighttime lighting transforms buildings and makes them even more interesting than they are during the day.

The building at Sumskaya Street, 41 was presumably built in 1899 by architect Boleslav Mikhalovsky.

The building was damaged by Russian missile strikes on Freedom Square in the spring of 2022 and lost some of its windows.
