Back in 1904, the book *Russian Educators of the Second Half of the 19th Century* was published. The book contained about 30 biographies of the very best of the best. However, perhaps the most interesting thing about it is that among these 30 great figures, there was only one woman.
And this woman is from Kharkiv—our very own Khrystyna Alchevska)
