Today in our book column, we feature a serious work titled *Questions of Contemporary Morality*. It was written by Professor K. Yarosh and published in 1888 by the Zilberberg Printing House in Kharkiv (Rybna Street, 22).

As we can see, the problems have not changed over such a long period of time. At the same time, Yarosh emphasizes that he does not advocate anti-scientific obscurantism, but insists that morality and ethics must be instilled simultaneously and in parallel with science.
