The entrance to the former monastery hotel at the corner of Bursatskiy Descent and Klochkivska Street looks much more interesting in photos and videos than it does in person.

The house was built in 1857 based on a design by architect F. Danilov.
It was rebuilt in the late 1880s based on a design by V. Nemkin.

Access to the building is unrestricted, as it houses offices and a nail school.

“The Cast-Iron Staircase” is especially nice.

The building’s current address is Bursatskiy Descent, 7/14.
