Diocesan Hotel

The Diocesan Hotel was built in 1912–1913 according to a design by architect Vladimir Pokrovsky at Poltavskyi Shliakh Street, 14, at the intersection with Rizdviana Street.

This is a fine example of eclectic architecture with elements of Romantic Art Nouveau, a style the architect was so fond of.

After the 1917 Revolution, the hotel was renamed “Red Moscow.”

The building currently houses the offices of commercial companies.
