This small alley, which begins at Mala Honcharivska Street, 24 should lead to Poltavskyi Shliakh Street, but instead ends in a dead end in the courtyard of the Building Without a Spire. Rubanivskyj Lane is notable for its well-preserved cobblestone pavement. It was originally called Yekaterinoslavsky Alley; during the Soviet era, it was known as Sverdlov Alley.

The most memorable sight is the colorful house at Rubanivskyj Lane, 8A which is cracked but still standing. The main facade of the house has only three windows, but it extends quite far back.
