At Alchevskyh Street, 47, you can see a beautiful Art Nouveau mansion, which is now home to the Regional Center for Family Planning and Human Reproduction.

According to the 1909 property owners’ directory, the lot was owned at that time by Petr Andreevich Kolesnichenko, a merchant. However, the building’s number was 59 at that time.

According to the list of architectural landmarks in Kharkiv, the building was constructed by Oleksander Markovich Ginzburg, and its restoration was carried out in 2003 under the direction of V. Novgorodov and V. Spasov.

Alas, time takes its toll, and the house is already in need of another renovation, especially on the back side.
