Steam Mill Office

At Akademika Pavlova Street, 1 you’ll find an intriguing historic Art Nouveau building—the former office of a steam mill, which was converted into a vocational school for printing during the Soviet era.

According to the 1909 list of property owners, the lot at Konyushennaya Street, 1 (as it was formerly known) belonged to Court Counselor Moisey Borisovich Fabrikant.

Moisey Fabrikant was a renowned maxillofacial surgeon and one of the founders of the automobile club movement in pre-1917 Kharkiv.
