Built in 1954 to a design by A. D. Matorin in the KhTZ residential district, this building occupies an entire city block and is notable for its distinctive features, particularly the entranceways with their round windows.

The main building, as well as the annex and a separate building in the courtyard, housed a children’s club with a variety of activities.

This residential building represents Socialist classicism style, popular in the early 1950s.

The “air bridges” between the wings of the building were not originally glazed.

You can still see medallions bearing Soviet coats of arms on the building.

The balconies in the courtyard block some of the windows in the building’s entrance.
