This building, constructed in the 1930s at Brihady Khartiia Street, 50/3 (formerly Rybalko Street), was the last one on the western edge of the KhTZ industrial town.

Further on, judging by German aerial photographs, the fields began.

Today, this building houses Academic Building No. 2 of the Kharkiv State Vocational Pedagogical College (formerly the Kharkiv Industrial Pedagogical Technical School); the technical school had been located here even before WWII.

The building is not a historic landmark, but it is visually quite interesting and bears a distant resemblance to the “Metalist” Cultural Center on Georgiy Tarasenko Street.

The building was damaged by Russian shelling in 2022 and lost some of its windows.
