And this is Kharkiv, too!

There is an “English” Kharkiv. There is a “French” Kharkiv. There is a “German” Kharkiv. There is a “Ukrainian” Kharkiv. In fact, there are many Kharkivs. Perhaps this very factor is one of the most unique characteristics of our city, which embodies unity in diversity.

In 1927, the “Kharkiv-Pechat” Trust’s printing house published the “Jewish Calendar for 1928,” measuring 56 x 36 cm.

We would therefore like to extend our warmest wishes to those of our readers who are celebrating the joyful and festive holiday of Hanukkah.

After all, the fascinating and extraordinarily rich Jewish heritage of Kharkiv is an integral part of our shared beautiful city history.

So, yep—this is Kharkiv, too!
Don’t forget that.
