Evening has fallen, and it is time for me to address our friends from the “Society of Friends of the South Russian Automobile Club in Kharkiv (1911–1919).”

As promised, I looked it up and am pleased to share an entry from the 1906 edition of the book *Notable Figures of Russia*—here is the entry on Moisey Borisovich Fabrikant)

Moses Borisovich Fabrikant, a doctor from Kharkiv, was born in 1864 in the Podolsk Governorate.

After graduating with honors from the Medical School of Kharkiv University (1889), he worked for two years at Prof. Grube’s surgical clinic. After spending a year abroad, where he attended lectures by leading professors while also working intensively in clinical settings, he took up the position of resident physician at the Faculty Surgical Clinic in Kharkiv in 1892.

In 1899, he opened his own surgical clinic, where he serves as director and chief physician.
