There are many interesting architectural landmarks on Dmytrivs’ka Street, but two in particular, located across from each other, are worth mentioning.
Dmytrivs’ka Street, 22. An apartment building owned by V. A. Sbitneva, designed by architect B. S. Pokrovsky.

The building was constructed approximately at the end of the 19th century (some sources cite 1881, but this date is somewhat questionable).

Dmytrivs’ka Street, 19/2. An apartment building constructed in 1908 for the merchant Pyotr Gavrilov. The music teacher and pianist Alexander Horowitz, uncle of the famous pianist Vladimir Horowitz, lived in this building.

From 1903 to 1913, A. Gorovitz served as the music correspondent for the newspaper *Yuzhny Krai*.

The list of architectural monuments in Kharkiv credits B.N. Kornienko as the architect. However, as architect and researcher E. Solovyov has established, this attribution is incorrect.

It is V. V. Velichko who is listed as the author in the addendum to Decision No. 334 of the Kharkiv Regional Executive Committee, dated April 30, 1980, regarding the approval of the list of architectural monuments.
