The Bogatyrevs' House

The house located at Myronosytska Street, 52 was built approximately in 1890. According to the 1909 list of homeowners, its number was 58, and it was owned by the Bogatyrevs’, a middle-class couple (Semyon Stepanovich and Anisya Petrovna). They were the parents of composer Semyon Bogatyrev (1890–1960)—a musicologist, teacher, and music theorist. From 1951 to 1955, Bogatyrev reconstructed P. I. The building underwent renovation in 2019–2020. During the renovation, the original window frames were removed, but the door was preserved and restored.

The interior spaces were redesigned to suit the restaurant’s needs, and the roof was extended, though this is not immediately apparent from the facade.
