As can be seen from the facade, the hospital was built in 1892.

It is located in the Slobozhansky National Nature Park, not far from the village of Murafa. But the village Lisne is even closer.

The building is a rare example of surviving wooden architecture in the Kharkiv region.

Although the hospital itself is relatively abandoned, it is still intact. However, several “distinctive” buildings on the complex’s grounds were demolished a few years ago; now, a private area (a site with agricultural equipment) stands in their place.

The same fate befell the wooden water tower, but I was unable to find any photographs of it.

Incidentally, the demolished buildings were designated as part of Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

The fact is that this property is listed in the registry of properties not subject to privatization as “the hospital complex for employees of the Vladimir Economic District, security number 720.” And the complex’s status indicates that it consisted of several buildings, not just the one that has survived.

Here and there, you can see subtle traces of stucco work on the ceiling
