This post features two small historic houses that were abandoned until recently but are now in the final stages of renovation.

According to rumors, this eclectic (or even Gothic Revival) building at Shevchenka Street, 30, will house a restaurant.

The Google Street View screenshots show what the building looked like in 2015.

The house at Ozerianska Street, 13 will be converted into a small residential complex.

The Art Nouveau building was extended by one story.

Google Street View 2015:

Neither building is a designated architectural landmark, and we do not know exactly when they were built—the first is thought to date from the late 19th century, and the second from the early 20th. We should probably be glad that the buildings have been given a new lease on life, even though, unfortunately, they have lost their original appearance.
