Unfortunately, the futile attempts to restore the building at Dmytrivs’ka Street, 29 and add a floor to it in the 2000s ended in failure.

It just stands there, falling into disrepair and turning into a street art gallery.

This apartment building in the Art Nouveau style was built in 1908-1909, probably according to the design of architect Mikhail Piskunov for Nakhim Moiseyevich Kompaniyets (according to research by architect E. Solovyov).

There is some speculation that the architect Boris Kornienko may have been the design author.
