The residential building at Myronosytska Street, 91 was built in 1930 according to the design of architects Viktor Trotsenko (with the participation of V. Pushkarev and O. Pleshkov) for engineers of the Giprostal Institute.
The building is an interesting example of constructivist architecture, some researchers find elements of Art Deco in it.

Most of the apartments in the building were three-room, the kitchens had coal stoves for cooking, and the building also had its own boiler room.
During World War II, the corner part of the building (4th floor) was damaged, but was later restored.

In 1980, the building was included in the list of architectural monuments of Kharkiv.
In the 1990s, an active process of uncontrolled expansion and glazing of balconies by the residents of the building began. Unfortunately, the “tsar-balconies” completely spoiled the appearance of the house, the new balconies “absorbed” original triangular constructivist bay windows.

However, the building still contained apartments with original 1930s furniture, fittings, and parquet floors.

On January 29, 2023, the building was seriously damaged by a Russian ballistic S-300 missile strike, killing one resident and injuring 3 others.

On January 2, 2026, as a result of 2 strikes by ballistic Iskander missiles, the entrance to the northern part of the building was destroyed, as well as the neighboring Persona shopping center (it was a reconstruction of a non-residential building, carried out according to the project of T. Polivanova in the 2000s).

7 people were killed, 38 people were injured, and 22 buildings were damaged.
